“And a great windstorm arose, and the waves were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was already filling. But he [Jesus] was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?” And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” — Mark 4:37-39 (ESV)
Improve the health of our community by increasing the publics’ access to quality specialized health care and educational services in the private sector.
We believe our community will be healthier when people can have better access to specialized mental health, educational and natural health care services in the private sector.
We believe there are many quality specialized health and educational care providers In the private sector.
We believe that if we support these providers through a collaborative network they will have a greater impact on the whole health of our community.
Our Network Providers are committed to continuing their professional development, implementing best practices, subscribing to high ethical standards, and practicing what they teach.
We encourage clients to invite supporters to participate in their healing. We aim to return the client to their natural community of support after their goals have been met.
We partner with providers to deliver healing and wellness to all 5 domains of life; physical, emotional, intellectual, relational and spiritual. True healing is measured by growth in all of these areas rather than solving a single or series of problems.
Our individual relationships with Christ drive our professional approach. We have accepted a calling and have chosen to submit our training to be used as a tool by God for our clients and community.
A primary function of the 501c(3) status at Still Wind Ministries is to raise funds to assist client’s with cost of the professional services, when cost would prohibit them from accessing services.
